Edinburgh Diamond Devils 18 - Glasgow Comets 17

The Devils took the trip to Glasgow looking to improve on their 3-3 record to start the season. However, it looked like the weather would stand in their way as they encountered typical Scottish summer weather of a 5 hour torrential downpour.
Things started well for the Devils as first inning hits by Chris W, Hsin-yen and Tristram off Comets starter Xander plated 3 runs in the top of the 1st.However, they were aided by a couple of infield errors with the long grass and slippery ball proving difficult to deal with, a theme which was to continue throughout this game.

Edinburgh Giants 6 - Glasgow Comets 16

An absolutely gorgeous day in Glasgow saw the visiting Edinburgh Giants take on the home team Glasgow Comets in what was another close match up between these two teams. Despite the final score, both teams traded runs until the home team was able to break through in the final inning.

hese two Edinburgh rivals faced off in the glorious sunshine in a crunch match for both teams. The Devils were looking even their record at 2-2 to get them back in the title hunt, whilst the Cannons could extend their lead at the top of the table with back to back wins against last year’s champs.
